ACL- Risk Assessment and Injury Prevention Program

Welcome to the Orthopedic and Fracture Clinic's Knee Training Zone. The Knee Training Zone was designed by physical therapists and Orthopedic Surgeons to assess and reduce the risk of anterior cruciate ligament injuries.

The Knee Training Zone is a five-step program:

Step 1
Orthopedic and Fracture Clinic staff will take your teams through a series of assessments including video to determine your initial risk.

Step 2
Orthopedic and Fracture Clinic staff provides an educational course for athletes, parents, and coaches.

Step 3
Led by your coach, your team completes a 6-8 week training course designed by therapists and surgeons. The sessions take 20 minutes, two times per week.

Step 4
Orthopedic and Fracture Clinic staff returns to reassess your team.

Step 5
Athletes can view their results online at www.ofc-oregon.com. Select Sports, ACL Program, and click the Dartfish icon.
